Local architect picked to join Aga Khan Award committee

One of the world’s most prestigious architecture awards has chosen a Malaysian to participate in organising it. Local architect Kamil Merican has been appointed to the steering committee of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture (AKAA) 2016.

Kamil, however, is quick to downplay the fact, merely saying that he feels “deeply honoured” by the appointment.
