The African American poet and civil rights activist who died last year is honoured with a limited edition stamp.
“Today, Dr Angelou receives the postal service’s highest honour, the commemoration of her image on a US postage stamp and yet her life, so meaningful and varied, can hardly be contained within the four corners of a stamp,” says Postmaster General Megan Brennan at the launch ceremony on April 7.
