Tuk-tuk to London: Indian engineer's solar-powered odyssey

Next stop, London! Naveen Rabelli's solar-powered tuk-tuk needs a bit more cash before it takes off in 2015 on a 9,600km odyssey from Bangalore to the capital of Britain.

In 2015, one ambitious Indian engineer plans to take his solar-powered tuk-tuk all the way from Bangalore to London in 90 days.

Naveen Rabelli’s tuk-tuk broke down the first time he rolled it out of his garage. The electrical engineer didn’t lose heart, however. Now, he plans to drive his customised three-wheeler all the way to London.
