THE people’s court in Shayibak district in Urumqi, China, confirmed on Tuesday that it had handled the divorce of Chinese singer Faye Wong and businessman Li Yapeng on Sept 13.
Earlier doubts about the celebrity couple’s sudden separation – which shocked her fans – being an elaborate publicity stunt came about after Urumqi civil servants reportedly said they had not handled the case.
