Bong, bong, bong!” The deep sound of the 140-year-old bell at Shau Sin Ngam Guanyin Temple reverberates far and wide as I strike it three times. The surrounding limestone hills of Sungei Siput South, near Kampar, Perak, act as an echo chamber, amplifying its resonance and "sending" the “bongs” to heaven.
