Tesha the dog was rescued by pet lover Joey Low in August 2021.
At the time, Tesha was a scrawny, sickly puppy that had bad skin and could not walk due to injury to her paws.
When Low brought her home, Tesha wouldn’t let her touch her at first. The poor pup also had difficulty sleeping, and awoke at every little sound she heard.
After a few visits to the vet, together with Low’s tender loving care, Tesha began to put her trust in her human.
Tesha became cheekier and more playful, even as her recovery sped up and her condition improved. During the mooncake festival, Low gave her a small doggie mooncake, and she liked it.
Today, Tesha is a healthy, happy dog.
Low wants to find homes for other strays too.
She had planned to host a pet adoption drive that was organised by Strays At Risk, an animal welfare initiative.
The adoption drive had been planned for tomorrow, April 16, from 9:30am to 5pm. The venue was to have been the Jo’Tesha Northern Colours cafe (61, Jalan PJU 1A/42A, Ara Damansara, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor).
However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the adoption drive has been cancelled.
