Just because your dog's wagging its tail, doesn't mean it's happy

Few things are nicer to come home to than a dog wagging its tail at the sight of you. But animal experts want you to know that a wagging tail does not always mean your dog is happy.

Dogs do express emotions with their tails, explains canine behaviour expert Katja Krauss. But while we humans like to think it means happy, instead it just means the pet is excited.
