Today, more and more people are embracing urban living. According to Deputy Federal Territories Minister Datuk Dr Shahruddin Md Salleh, 75.45% of the country’s population lived in urban areas and major cities in 2017, making Malaysia one of the most urbanised countries in South-East Asia.
