Beautiful Stripes: It's not a woman's world

Last month, countries around the world celebrated Inter­national Women’s Day (IWD). This year, there seemed to be more acknowledgment of women and their roles, be it at work or home, in politics or nation-building.

But there was also a lot more fanfare, with various shops giving out flowers to female customers, happy IWD wishes being sent out on social media and events built on the theme.
