Library cat finds a new home in a book store

Max sits on the windowsill of his home in St Paul, Minnesota, staring longingly out at the street he no longer has the freedom to roam – the street that used to take him to his favourite place in the world: a library.

Since rocketing to viral fame, the orange tabby known for frequenting the Macalester College library – and then getting banned from it – Max has become an indoor cat. Paw thing.
