All they have is each other. Sick with worry about their family and friends back in violence-racked Rakhine in Myanmar, a group of Rohingya refugee women in Kuala Lumpur meet daily to pray for the safety of their loved ones and help each other grapple with the anxiety of not knowing what will happen next.

“That’s all we can do. We try to call home every day but it isn’t easy getting through. We have to try for hours before we can get a line and some days we can’t get through at all. Those days are unbearable.
