It is important to educate children on the benefits and dangers of communication devices.

Some frown on tracking children with GPS devices. But some parents do it because they believe it is in their children’s best interest and for their safety. Earlier this year, Risa Yoshida, 46, gave her seven-year-old daughter Jasmine Miyoko a smartphone with GPS tracking services when she enrolled in Year One at a private school in Kuala Lumpur.
