Sometimes we inherit our parents’ opinions and beliefs without even realising it. For example, I’ve seen several generations of the same family with the same political views, right down to the judgmental statements they utter without thinking.
“Stupid, self-serving dimwits, the whole lot of them,” the grandfather will say about his least favourite political party on election day.
