Climate change – the real world threat

In the movies, when there’s the threat of global destruction, the entire world joins together, pooling resources, building specialised teams of charismatic, camera-friendly individuals – it is the movies after all – to combat whatever the danger is, be it alien invasion or giant asteroids.

But that doesn’t happen in real life.
