Today is International Day of Yoga

Today, thousands of yogis, yoginis and yoga practitioners will line their mats in public spaces, stadiums, parks and studios to commemorate the first International Day of Yoga.

As they breathe, stretch and meditate their way to better health, yoga devotees will celebrate the day performing a variety of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises.)
