As I am writing this on my iPad, I am about to board a 24-hour flight to Kuala Lumpur from Houston, Texas. There’s a short transit in Seoul as we are taking Korean Air. Although the day-long journey ahead is daunting, I'm somewhat assured by the superb service on Korean Air, and look forward to its signature dish bibimbap being served on-board.
I was in Houston for four days as a media guest of luxury watch brand Omega. My initial reservation about Houston – after all, the city doesn’t exactly scream glamour like New York or Los Angeles – was squashed by the end of our sojourn. From our visit to NASA’s Johnson Space Center to a dinner date with Omega ambassador George Clooney, everything ran with clockwork precision.
