You must be sure you will be able to handle two dogs before you adopt.

The basic questions about adopting any pet, whether dog, mouse, or lama, is whether you have the time and money. You need to have lots of time to take care of your pet. That means exercising, cleaning, grooming, and socialising daily for 10 to 15 years for a dog. Then there are food and vet bills to pay.
