Bye bye, belly: An personal experience with the battle of the bulge

Our columnist reminisces about the time he decided to lose that bulge that wrapped his waistline.

I’ve always had a tummy since my early teenage years. I was not really overweight, but I remember vividly my face and limbs resembled toothpicks, whilst my large protruding tummy seemed like a volleyball in disguise.
