In China, a 94-year-old English teacher suffered a stroke and lost her ability to speak. This in itself isn’t that strange; sadly, people who suffer from strokes lose the ability to speak quite frequently. But this elderly woman didn’t lose her entire ability to speak, she just lost her ability to speak Chinese, she can communicate in English just fine. The stroke knocked out a language.
