Water dripped from the nose of his plush bear hat to the ground as he swung his lean arms and legs to stretch them and keep his body warm in the 17℃ air. Moments later, at the sound of an air horn, the BOH Tea Highlands Run began. The crowd clapped and cheered, and 500 pairs of feet immediately began splashing their way through mud, sand and stones.
