Saving money at flea markets

Did you know? The term 'flea market' comes from the French marche aux puces, a name originally given to a market in Paris which specialised in shabby  second-hand goods of the kind that might contain fleas. The earliest English use that the 20-volume Oxford English Dictionary  has found dates from 1922.

Steve Bors is standing at this booth in Flea World dressed in a wig, a fruit-basket hat, a woman’s pink slip, carrying a crocheted purse and holding a pink cane. The name of his booth is Dumpster Divers. And he’s not kidding.
