New American research has found that following seven healthy lifestyle guidelines for preventing heart disease also appears to help prevent diabetes.
Led by Dr Joshua J. Joseph at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and College of Medicine in the United States, the new study looked at 7,758 participants with an average age of 63 and used the American Heart Association’s “Life’s Simple 7” health and lifestyle factors as a guide for measuring participants’ heart health.
