The results of a major research initiative, commissioned by Janssen Asia Pacific and undertaken by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), was released recently to coincide with World Mental Health Day on Oct 10.

The Asia-Pacific Mental Health Integration Index measures the degree of support within 15 Asia-Pacific countries and territories for integrating people with mental illness into society.
