Dr Eric Topol will co-lead the effort to enrol and engage one million Americans in a study that will deeply explore people’s health and regularly provide them with information that they can share with their doctors.

The US$120mil (RM480) grant from the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) is part of the Obama administration’s Precision Medicine Initiative, which will customise patient care through big advances in digital technology.
