MY husband has what doctors call a “tennis elbow’’ although he doesn’t play tennis. He lifts weights instead. He has to go for physiotherapy every day. What is physiotherapy?  

Physiotherapy is a paramedical science that involves treatment of patients’ problems using exercises, movement, massage, muscle energy techniques and electrical modalities. The art of physiotherapy is supposed to engage and improve your body’s natural ability to heal itself by using stretching, mobilising and manipulative techniques.
