RECENTLY, I visited a friend who had discovered he has tumours in the brain that had spread from the original site of the cancer, which was probably his kidneys.
Everything had happened very fast. He was 47 years, active in sports, and was taking several health supplements. But he was also a heavy smoker. He first felt weakness in one arm, followed by weakness in other limbs, and was confined to a wheelchair – all in the span of two weeks. When I met him, he was still alert and looking for alternative therapies, as his Western-trained doctors had given him only six months to live. Unfortunately, he died the next day. May his soul rest in peace.
