Gynecologists issue new guide to hormone therapy for menopausal women

WASHINGTON (AP) - Hormone therapy comes with clear risks but remains the most effective treatment for hot flashes and night sweats, according to a new medical guide. 

Women who try estrogen should use the lowest possible dose for the shortest period of time, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists stressed.
