Revisiting black cohosh

REPORTS that the herb, black cohosh, may cause cancer spells to spread has prompted me to present readers with the “other side” of the black cohosh story.  

To begin with, there are two kinds of cancer – one is affected by hormones, while the other is not. Hormone-dependent cancers are stoked by hormones and hormone-like substances. The recent tests on the herb seemed to indicate that the oestrogenic properties of black cohosh causes cancer cells (breast and ovarian) to multiply.
