ON 9th March 2003, we ran a story out of the United Kingdom about a report coming out of the British Foods Standards Agency (FSA) that said that some vitamins and minerals like chromium picolinate (the most commonly used chromium supplement) was not just useless but could be downright dangerous.
The agency suggested that chromium picolinate can cause damage to the DNA resulting in cancer-causing mutation. This spooked many who were already nervous following the unceremonious recall of products made by Pan Pharmaceuticals.
