Melancholic recollections

ALL of us experience varying degrees of depression at some point in our lives. Some are able to overcome it while others can’t. I feel that men are more depressed than women because men tend to keep their emotions to themselves. How fast a person “snaps out of it” depends on how he/she reacts to the situation. If the problem is kept within and unattended to, it can become serious.

I become disappointed when things don’t turn out the way I expect them to be or when someone breaks a promise. When that happens, I lose my appetite, become quiet and like to be left alone.
