There is nothing to be terrified about. It’s just a needle, and some have even likened the experience of having blood drawn from the body to an ant bite. To prepare for a blood test, you can have a snack or drink beforehand to avoid feeling faint. However, if you’ve been given instructions not to eat or drink, follow the instructions.
