Bouillabaisse at its best

Chalet Restaurant at Hotel Equatorial Kuala Lumpur will excite your taste buds with the exquisite Bouillabaisse until Aug 30. Bouillabaisse is a highly seasoned Mediterranean stew made of several kinds of fishes and shellfish with tomatoes, onions and leeks, seasoned with saffron, garlic and herbs. This dish originates from Provencal, Marseilles due to the abundance of seafood and shellfish, combined with the easy access to spices from Asia. Chef de Cuisine Hafizzul Hashim has meticulously prepared this classical dish for you to savour. Expect only the freshest seafood and shellfish such as halibut fish, Boston Bay mussels, prawns, flower crab and clams cooked in Provencal soup and served with rouille and baguette. Featuring a five-course dinner set,customised for the health conscious, Tanzini brings forth a buka puasa menuaimed at re-energising the body with healthy and nutritious food after a longexhausting day of fasting. Following on, the chef’s hearty and rustic roasted Roma Tomato Cream soup provides comfort while before heading for the mains of organic spring chicken or Tanzini’s own signature Tiger Prawn Vongole served with ‘tau miu’ sprouts.
