Designed to resemble a more upmarket, carnival-esque version of the ubiquitous Malaysian food court, Tiffin Food Court is back for its fourth year.
Introduced in 2016 by Freeform Sdn Bhd, the event has garnered a reputation for showcasing the culinary pedigree of both established players in the industry as well as rising talents in the local F&B scene.
This year’s event runs over six weekends at Lot 15, Jalan 13/6, Seksyen 13, Petaling Jaya (behind The Gasket Alley). The event is held every Thursday to Sunday from 5pm till late until 1 September 2019.
“This year we’ve tried our best to further elevate Tiffin Food Court’s offerings as a reflection of our aspirations to become the culinary platform for events, and conversations around food that push the culinary experience in Malaysia.
“Tiffin has always aimed to promote and develop emerging culinary talents and support entrepreneurs whilst nurturing our nation’s collective enthusiasm for all things culinary,” says Adrian Yap, CEO and founder of Freeform Sdn Bhd.
Each weekend offers a different curated experience with over 60 F&B players on rotation, meaning you’re guaranteed a different experience each time you visit.
Tiffin will also host a series of gifted local chefs like chef Gary Anwar of Ember Modern Bistro, chef Carrie Scully of Tiki Taka and chef Nicholas Scorpion of Jing Ze Contemporary Asian Restaurant.
There will also be chocolate desserts from Cocodash by Cocoraw and Seniman Kakao as well as Beard Brothers’ much-talked about halal ramen.
Also worth looking out for are the maiden debuts of a few new players – Momosita, a new taco bar from Troika Sky Dining and fellow taco competitor MyTacoLab, devised by the team behind the enormously popular MyBurgerLab.
