The Shucked Oyster Festival returns this Sunday (Sept 2) with a fine selection of the world’s best seafood, the finals of the Malaysian Oyster Shucking Championships, live music and drinks.

Organised by Southern Rock Seafood, the Shucked Oyster Festival is a family-friendly event with a wide range of seafood (the fresh oysters start at only RM6 a piece!), and other premium foods, a well-stocked bar and several bands set to entertain guests with some great live music.

While you enjoy the some of the world’s finest oysters and smoked salmon, or Southern Rock's fish & chips, seafood paella, and famous mussels laksa, you can also grab a ring-side spot at finals of the Malaysian Oyster Shucking Championships, in which the best oyster-opening hands in Malaysia will be facing off for the title of the 2018 Malaysian National Shucking champion.

Fizly represented Malaysia at the World Oyster Championships in Galway, Ireland and the Shuck Off China World Cup in Beijing, China during his championship year. This year, the winner

will take home RM1,000 and the chance to compete on the world stage in Ireland and China as well.
