Detroit is America's capital of pizza, according to Google.
Google News Lab has crunched the data to chart the most popular cuisines across the US. Some of their conclusions? Detroit is the pizza capital of the US, while New Yorkers are crazy about their Chinese restaurants.
Published on Medium, the findings are based on aggregated, anonymised and private data from users who have opted in to Google Location History. Overall, the two most popular cuisines across the US are, not surprisingly, pizza and Mexican.
