French patisserie Ladureé has teamed up with American fashion designer Vera Wang to launch a new collection of dramatic black and white-themed desserts inspired by Wang’s iconic bridal designs.
Like the wedding dress designs Wang is best known for, the macarons and wedding cake are elegant in their simplicity, both in look and flavour: Macarons are coconut Chantilly creme, and a wedding cake made to resemble the undulating fabric of a wedding dress is made with all-white mango and coconut.
