Starbucks Japan is taking the notion of dessert drink to a whole new level with the launch of a cherry pie Frappuccino that replaces the plastic domed lid with and pie crust.

The photo says it all: Cherry pie is liquefied into a frozen beverage made with a blended vanilla-flavoured cream base, pie crumbles and cherry compote topped with whip cream.
