He's up at 4am and spends at least 12 hours at work every day, six days a week. Thirty-seven-year-old Parthiban Nalliah is chef de cuisine at the Sunway Group of Hotels – a job that keeps him up and running, barking out instructions and keeping a team of 42 kitchen hands and senior chefs in line, keeping hotel guests’ tummies filled all year round.

Parthiban starts his day off with a 45-minute jog (alongside his two dobermans) and a cup of coffee.
