Ambitious kaiseki menu at Xenri

Just off the busy artery of traffic along Jalan Klang Lama, on the stretch closest to the OUG turn-off, lies a restaurant called Xenri. Calling it "restaurant" however is a bit of a misnomer as it more closely resembles a sanctuary.

Xenri’s interior harnesses positive energy and Zen, lulling you into a state of soothing calm. There are two main areas to the restaurant – the one you see when you first walk in, and the one that is hidden. The first is encased in floor to ceiling glass, so sunlight spills its kaleidoscopic splashes of gold everywhere. Outside, perfectly manicured trees line the street.
