BBC One's The Great British Bake Off reached a new viewing record on Aug 24, reports Deadline, beating out the network's viewings of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
The seventh season of the popular cooking show inched out the network's top-watched moments of the Rio Games, with 11.2 million viewers compared to the Games' 11.1 million viewing peak.
