For Muslims, food takes on a new significance in the holy month of Ramadan. For one month, Muslims abstain from food to practise self-restraint and contemplate their own spritual journey. At the end of the holy month, Muslims come together in celebration.
In Malaysia, Hari Raya Aidilfitri is celebrated by Muslims but all races join in the festivities. Mostly, we all enjoy the delicious traditional and modern delicacies that make an appearance every Raya.
