The Brothers Green bring zany to budget cooking

Crazy cooks: Josh (left) and Mike Greenfield are the latest kitchen heroes for hungry folks with little money and even less time to prepare proper meals.

If you think that steam irons can only be used on wrinkled clothes, you have obviously never heard of the Brothers Green. Hand them an iron and watch in awe as they make perfectly toasted quesadillas in front of you. Yes, Josh and Mike Greenfield cook using steam irons.

It sounds crazy, but that is exactly what they did, cooking backstage at the MTV European Music Awards earlier this year. They served haggis quesadillas to celebrities Ed Sheeran and David Hasselhoff who looked in disbelief as Mike placed a hot iron on top of a tin-foil wrapped quesadilla. But after a few bites, the stars’ initial reservations flew out the window.
