Eating out for under RM30: Jumei Dim Sum

What did Belle sing in the first few minutes of Beauty And The Beast? While she may want much more than her provincial life, city dwellers may crave it for a change of pace and scenery. That was my thinking when I dragged a friend to Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh for a dim sum breakfast.

This was my first time to the area and I found the experience quite charming. As the dim sum was carried to our table, I heard cheering from the football field next to Jumei’s open-air dining space. The teams consisted of foreign workers who worked in the industrial area that made up this small village. Decked in personalised jerseys, the teams played to cheering fans.
