The chefs astound with a variety of flavours such as ikan bakar (grilled fish), mixed grill with seafood and prime meat, baked salmon with rock salt, jellyfish kerabu and Penang laksa.
Sous chef Hamizi is famous for his ikan bakar where the fish is marinated in a mixture of sweet soy sauce, coconut oil and spices including ground shallots, garlic, chilli pepper, coriander, tamarind juice, candlenut, turmeric and galangal.
Fish such as barramundi, catfish and local mackerel are served with sambal belacan or sambal kicap and lemon slices. The aromatic fragrance of the seafood cooking on the grill is enough to whet one’s appetite.
The jellyfish kerabu is light and refreshing with its classic dressing of sambal belacan, lime juice and sugar while the fish-based laksa is robust in taste.
Other appetisers consist of beef salad, sausage salad, seafood on the ice, Penang rojak and three types of cheese. Broccoli soup and Chinese chicken herbal soup are also available.
Main dishes comprise of grilled salmon with almond crush, cheese-baked salmon, Thai-baked chicken, pineapple fried rice, butter mix vegetables with almond and Asian tapas.
The dessert counter beckons seductively with sweet temptations such as chocolate fountain with fruits, chocolate fudge cake, strawberry mousse, apple crumble, bubur cha cha and Baskin Robbins ice-cream.
Located on the ground floor, the 24-hour G Cafe serves a wide selection of international buffets nightly in a relaxing modern and stylish ambience. Buffet breakfast and buffet lunch are also available daily.
