Meandering memories of the Bernam River

Crossing the Bernam River used to be a test of patience, depending on the weather and whether you were in a hurry.

I LOVE travelling to the less developed parts of the country, and memories of past events at certain locations still cling to my mind despite the passage of time. A good example is this place located between Perak and Selangor which I visited for the very first time in August 1968.
