Educational development company Glen Stream is organising a workshop on special children and learning challenges.
Called “Creating Appropriate Learning Moments for Special Learners”, the workshop will be conducted by educator Prof Eric Lim who founded the Kits4Kids Foundation.
The areas covered will include:
- Understanding difficulties faced by special learners in school and home;
- Applying different approaches to start appropriate learning moments for learners;
- Developing an effective learning plan at home;
- Evolving learning plans for the growing learners; and
- Overcoming challenges during lesson time.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at La Salle Hall, Off Jalan Gasing, Petaling Jaya, from 9am-1pm.
The fee is RM130 each and it includes course notes and snacks.
