Disney Junior celebrates Donald Duck's birthday

Happy birthday, Donald Duck!

Donald Duck is celebrating his birthday on June 9. He'll be 79 years old!

As part of the celebration, Disney Junior (Astro, channel 613) will be having some special programmes from June 3 at 9am, showcasing all of Donald Duck specials from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. The episodes are repeated the same day at 2.30pm.

The shows are:

June 3: “Donald of the Desert”
When Mickey and pals travel to the faraway desert to fetch sand for the Clubhouse sandbox, Donald discovers a magic lamp that houses Pete the Genie.

June 4: “Donald’s Hiccups”
Donald gets the hiccups … and spreads them to the rest of the Sensational Six! Now they have to find remedies to cure each of them.

June 5: “Donald's Ducks”
Ten ducks (including one really cute duckling) need help getting to a warm beach for the winter and Donald Duck eagerly volunteers to help them get there.

June 6: “Space Captain Donald”
When Pluto’s bouncy ball bounces all the way into outer space, Mickey and our friends, led by Space Captain Donald, take a trip to the Moon to retrieve the ball.

June 7: "Donald the Genie"
Donald becomes a genuine magical genie and realises it is not as easy as it sounds when he is only able to grant one wish to each Clubhouse friend.

June 8: "Donald Hatches an Egg"
When the Clubhouse pals discover a mystery egg among Goofy's rock collection, they try to find out what kind of animal is inside in order to return it to its mother. In the meantime, Donald Duck serves as a reluctant babysitter when the little egg develops a fondness specifically for him.

June 9: "Donald's Clubhouse"
Mickey leaves Donald in charge of the Clubhouse, but when Donald and Goofy accidentally turn a small mess into a big mess, the whole gang must work together to tidy up in time for a visit from Mother Goose Clarabelle and her Cluck-Cluck trio of singing chickens.
