Beyond Barriers: Every day is a bonus

What would you do if you were told you had a few months to live? A cancer patient shares her story.

I hated cancer. Cancer is totally not cool. Cancer has forced me to forego lots of opportunities. I had plans for the future, but everything vaporised when the surgeon told me: “My dear, it is time for you to visit an oncologist. He should be able to help and guide you from there.” That was back in 2012. All my dreams were destroyed by the reality that I have cancer.
