AUDIO content is favoured by many parents and experts alike, who claim it is associated with multiple benefits for children’s mental health – improved moods, calmer temperament, improved self-esteem. Now a new American study indicates that audio content is associated with improved grades at school – at least according to what 63% of parents have noticed.

A survey conducted by ABF Creative, “2023 Sounds of Self-Esteem Report,” an American podcast production company, among 1,013 parents of children aged four to 11, looked at the impact of audio content on children’s well-being, mental health and attitude. And for a majority of parents, audio content can clearly help boost academic performance. Some 63% said they had noticed an improvement in their children’s school results, and attributed this positive change to the consumption of audio content.
