‘Oscars’ of the toy world announced in New York

Winners include a dinosaur, art tools and plenty of Lego!

The “Oscars” of the toy industry were awarded over the weekend, as the 15th Annual Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards took place in New York, serving as the official kickoff to the 112th North American International Toy Fair.

From an innovative “pet” dinosaur to a customisable arts and crafts kit, the TOTY Award winners were selected with the input of consumers, retailers, media and members of the toy industry. Here are the winners:
